Richard A. DeHaven Memorial Scholarship

Richard A. DeHaven was a math teacher in the Tri-Valley School District for most of his career. He was always willing to put in extra hours to tutor students who were struggling with math. Rick was active in his church, the Service Learning program and the National Honor Society. Mr. DeHaven's commitment to his students and community was an inspiration. The Richard A. DeHaven Memorial Scholarship honors his legacy and helps educate the next generation of math enthusiasts.

Applicant must be a graduating Tri-Valley High School senior with a cumulative GPA exceeding 3.0. Applicant must be planning to attend any two or four year accredited institution with plans to major or minor in any engineering or other math-related field.
