Lester Little Journalism Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Lester Little, a farmer from Dresden. Little has had a long-time respect for journalists who seek the truth and report it.

''Journalism gives storytellers the opportunity to share news and events locally and globally,'' said MCCF CEO Brian Wagner. ''This scholarship will help young people discover the numerous educational opportunities in the sector and help cover the cost. We at MCCF are honored to work with Mr. Little and help him achieve this dream.''

While the journalism field may include those majoring in public relations and communications, preference will be given to those pursuing news journalism.

REQUIREMENTS
• -- Graduate of a Muskingum County High School
• -- Cumulative GPA exceeding 2.8
• -- Must be planning to attend a 4-year accredited institution majoring in Journalism or related field
• -- Current college students and past recipients may apply
