John McIntire Education Fund
Scholarship Requirements and Conditions
1. Scholarships are available only for undergraduate degrees.
2. First time applicants must be under 21 years of age as of May 20 of the first application year. Returning applicants must be less than 25 years of age as of May 20 of the current application year.
3. First time applicants must reside within Zanesville city limits.
4. Applicant’s most recent cumulative GPA must be 2.0 or better, whether high school or post-secondary program.
5. Recipients must reapply each year for a John McIntire scholarship renewal.
6. Scholarship awards will be based on the student’s financial need as based on the SAI derived by FAFSA.
Funds provided by the John McIntire Education Fund are paid directly to the teaching institution. Please note that this means the funds will not be available for off-campus expenses. Any funds not needed to cover education or housing expenses required by the teaching institution will be returned to the John McIntire Education Fund.
