Pamela Smith Jackson Memorial Scholarship

The Pamela Smith Jackson Scholarship Fund was established in Jackson’s memory by her four sisters. Its purpose is to honor Jackson’s love of learning. Jackson graduated from Waterford High School in 1968 and went on to study history, government and special education at Ohio University. While an adult, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and later cancer. She passed away in 2006. Two scholarships are awarded, one to a senior attending Waterford High School and one to a senior attending West Muskingum High School.

Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.0, be involved in community activities including some volunteering, and be planning to attend a four-year or two-year degree college or university.
