Y-City Music and Rib Fest Returns in 2027
The Y-City Music and Rib Fest will bring Zanesville’s Rib Fest tradition back in 2027 after a nine-year hiatus. Revived by the Nelson T. Gant Foundation in partnership with the City of Zanesville, the one-day festival is planned for the one-day festival is planned for Fall 2027 and will celebrate great barbecue, live music, local traditions, and community spirit.
The festival will feature competitive BBQ teams from across the region, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, local artisans and vendors, and exhibits from community organizations. With hundreds of residents and visitors expected to attend, the event will provide opportunities to support local businesses, strengthen community connections, and showcase what makes Zanesville a great place to live, work, and visit.
Corporate and community sponsors are an important part of bringing the festival back to Zanesville. The Nelson T. Gant Foundation has established a sponsorship goal of $35,000–$40,000, supported through four sponsorship levels and in-kind contributions. Sponsors will receive recognition through event advertising, digital and social media promotion, signage, and other opportunities while demonstrating their support for a growing community tradition.

Sponsorship Deadline: Camera-ready or digital-ready logos, sponsorship information, and payment should be submitted to the Muskingum County Community Foundation by March 31, 2027 to ensure inclusion in printed and digital event materials.
