Gabby's Dream Scholarship

''Gabby's Dream Scholarship was started in honor of my daughter, Gabriella Garven, who tragically passed away from her injuries she sustained in a car accident. If you were lucky enough to know Gabby during her short time here on earth, you know what an amazing hero she was and continues to be. Gabby was a beautiful, smart, funny, talented, athletic, brave, loving, and driven individual. While her brothers and mother were her biggest supporters, Gabby was everyone's biggest supporter. She loved children, she loved to make new friends (and was not shy when it came to being the one to introduce herself), she helped everyone she met and offered hugs and a laugh to anyone who needed them. Her bubbly personality naturally drew people to her. She was always quick to let you know she loved you, and she meant it, On October 29, 2019, she was declared brain dead. That might be the end of most people's story... but not Gabby's. Gabby decided she wanted to be an organ donor when she got her license. Her mother honored her wishes and 5 people gained the gift of life from her. A true hero who saved so many! She physically is not here with us on earth, but she lives on in those 5 people and in the hearts of all who were lucky to know her. This scholarship is just another way Gabby lives on. It's called Gabby's Dream because she had a dream of going to college and becoming a doctor. She had dreams, goals, and plans to obtain them. By giving this scholarship, the recipients who also have a dream, goals, and a plan; will have a hand in achieving them, thanks to Gabby. She will help give these students a piece of their plan and will continue to now live on through them.'' - Danielle Garven, Gabriella's mother
