Ora E. Anderson Scholarship

Two or more $2,500 scholarships will be awarded annually to students pursuing studies associated with the natural sciences forest and wildlife management; environmental restoration; natural and historical interpretation; ecotourism; and/or related-disciplines associated with broadly protecting plants, animals and the environment. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or possess a GED, and currently live and attend school within the 32 counties of Appalachian Ohio. Candidates who demonstrate overall commitment to environmental protection and conservation will be considered; ethical character, extra-curricular activities, volunteerism and financial need will also be evaluated.
