Labor Essay Scholarship Contest

High School juniors and seniors from the four-county region (Licking, Knox, Muskingum, Coshocton) are invited to submit an essay for consideration for the Licking-Knox-Muskingum-Coshocton Labor Council, AFL-CIO Labor Essay Scholarship Contest.

Essays should include research and discussion on: The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
Essays should include:
1) A brief history of the NLRB and how and why it was formed,
2) Explain the function of the NLRB, and
3) Discuss recent developments of the NLRB and how it is relative to workers today.

Essays should be no longer than 3 pages. Please include sources.

Two winners will be awarded a scholarship.
