Nick Tilton Memorial Scholarship
Given by an anonymous West Muskingum Alumni
Nicholas Allen Tilton was born and raised in Zanesville. He was a 2000 graduate of West Muskingum High School where he was active in the choir and played baseball and football. He was an Eagle Scout. Nick attended the 1997 National Boy Scout Jamboree as a representative of the Muskingum Valley Council. He enjoyed singing in the Barbershop Quartet, playing golf and volleyball. He was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and was a diehard Buckeye’s fan. He earned his bachelor degree in the field of political science. Nick was employed with 5th Avenue Lumber in Columbus and loved music and spending time with friends at Jamboree In The Hills.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be a West Muskingum High School graduating senior, pursuing higher education opportunities for the upcoming school year.
The applicant must be involved in extra-curricular, community and volunteer activities and planning to obtain a degree in any subject area.
Applicant must be involved in football or music.
Recipient must receive a 2.5 GPA or higher their first semester to receive their second scholarship check.
