The Thomas Community Service Award
Guidelines
Individuals and organizations are invited to nominate community volunteers from Muskingum County to receive the Thomas Community Service Award. The nominee who receives the Award names a local charitable organization to receive a $1,000.00 grant from the Muskingum County Community Foundation. The award is named for the late Ray Thomas, the founding president of the Muskingum County Community Foundation, and is given to individuals who have donated their time and talent to improve the quality of life in Muskingum County. Generally, the volunteer has been instrumental in the success of one particular organization. Individuals involved with specific community projects may also be nominated. Any individual or organizational representative who wishes to enter a nomination for the award may obtain a nomination form online or from the Community Foundation by calling 453-5192. The deadline for nominations is March 17, 2008. The recipient will be recognized at the Muskingum County Community Foundation’s Annual Donor Recognition and Awards Banquet on May 30, 2008, at the Zanesville Country Club. Invitations to the Spring Banquet are extended to donors of $1,000 or more to the MCCF Unrestricted Fund during the previous year.
