Resources to Help with the Early FAFSA and Financial Aid

FAFSA Assistance Events

  • Scholarship Central and GEAR UP are hosting several evening events to help students file their FAFSAs.
No appointment is necessary and the help is free, so join us and let us help you file your FAFSA!
Events begin this week and go through the first week of November.

Student and Family Resources

  • Create a New FSA ID! An FSA ID gives you access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems and can serve as your legal signature. You need this to: sign your FAFSA, master promissory note (MPN), PLUS loan requests, TEACH Grant Program Agreement and get access to your history of federal student aid and loan servicer information. More info at About the FSA ID.

  • Get help paying for college - Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)!

  • A site is designed for students, parents, counselors, mentors, and anyone else who is looking for resources for completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to obtain financial aid assistance for college.

  • Find out when you need to have your FAFSA completed for the school you will be attending.
If you miss this date, you won't receive as much, or any financial aid from your school!

  • Minds can achieve anything. We make sure they get to college. At Federal Student Aid, we make it easier to get money for higher education.
