Opportunities for Educators
GEAR UP is always looking for tutors for our After School Program at Crooksville Intermediate School. Tutors must have a high school diploma, but are not required to be teachers by profession-they can be college students, working adults, retired individuals, or anyone in between. Tutors are needed Monday through Thursday from 2:15pm – 4:00pm for the program, which teaches computer skills, leadership skills, facilitates team-building activities, provides homework support, supplies OAT (Ohio Achievement Test) preparation, and facilitates different student clubs. Tutors are also needed for GEAR Up's Summer Enrichment program in which middle school students take trips one day a week for education and personal enrichment.
• After School
