To manage The Muskingum
County Community Foundation in a manner that will
provide for its future development.

To enlist and develop a Board that has the confidence of the
community and a full commitment to The Foundation.

To act, when requested, as a clearinghouse for not-for-profit
organizations and civic-minded individuals in surveying the community's
needs.

To establish a mechanism for the receipt and funding of proposals
from the IRS approved tax-exempt not-for-profit organizations serving
the community.

To support programs identified as new departures that contribute to
the quality of life in the community.

To act, when requested, as a resource for all agencies and
individuals seeking information on gaining funds for capital projects
and programs that enhance community life.

To support living memorials that benefit the community.

To decide, following the wishes of donors and the mission of The
Foundation, what projects and organizations will be supported.

To accomplish these objectives through a growing base throughout
Muskingum County.
