Armco Park (now Park Central) has been an important part of Muskingum County for a long time. The purchase of this park by the Muskingum County Community Foundation gives more residents of Muskingum County the opportunity to access to the facilities, providing a place for community members of all ages to focus on personal wellness, facilities for families to spend time together and opportunities for our youth to enjoy recreational opportunities in a safe environment, all of which are important to the future of our community.
The park includes an outdoor pool, large barn for dances/events, small barn with meeting space and rest rooms, a summer house, a building overlooking the pool, outdoor pavilions, basketball courts, horseshow pits, a baseball field and shuffleboard courts.
The Muskingum Family Y is currently leasing the property and oversees rental of facilities. If you would like more information about renting facilities at the park, please contact the Y at (740) 453-9622.
