Martin Luther King Jr. Book Scholarship Applications Due December 8th
ZANESVILLE- The Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Deadline is fast approaching.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund at the Muskingum County Community Foundation hopes to encourage graduating seniors from Muskingum County to pursue higher education at a 2 or 4 year college or university. Multiple $500 book scholarships will be awarded in 2015. Scholarships will be divided into two payments of $250 each.
The applicant must be a minority student, on track to be a 2015 high school graduate, have taken a CP, Honors, or AP track throughout high school, received a 18 or higher composite ACT score, have applied to a 2 or 4 year college or university, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale), have passed all of their OGT tests, have turned in an official high school transcript that shows ACT scores and cumulative GPA, and schedule (and attend) an appointment by December 4th at Scholarship Central to meet with a College Access Advisor to plan for their post-secondary education.

The scholarship application form is available at the Muskingum County Community Foundation, 534 Putnam Avenue, Zanesville, online at www.mccf.org, or at the student’s high school guidance office. Applications must be postmarked by December 8th.
