Community Youth Foundation supports Salvation Army Angel Tree Project

The Muskingum County Community Youth Foundation hopes purchasing a few gifts and groceries will give a Zanesville family a better Christmas.
The group adopted two local children from the Salvation Army Angel Tree. Several members met to shop for presents on December 8, purchasing shoes, clothes and toys. A different group of members wrapped presents on the 10th before delivering them to the family. The Youth Foundation also used their funds to purchase groceries for the family to have a Christmas dinner.
This is the first year the Youth Foundation has supported the Angel Tree Project, although they donated several winter coats, hats and gloves to The Salvation Army at the end of October.
Students also attended Zanesville Community Theatre's 19th Annual Angel Tree Benefit on Sunday, December 13 to support fellow member Olivia Earich and other local talent.
