The goal of the Campaign for the MRC was to raise $5 million dollars. In addition, the MRC will borrow approximately $5 million, a loan that will be paid off by operating revenue.
The Campaign Committee to raise the funds for construction of the recreation facility is co-chaired by James A. McDonald and Toby Rogovin. The Honorary Chair of the Campaign is Tom Lyall. The Chair of the Speakers Bureau is Rob Joseph. The Executive Director of the Muskingum Recreation Center is Beth Chapman.
The campaign goal of $5 million has been met, and new pledges continue.
This project represents a positive community effort that will benefit all area residents. It is the opportunity this community has been waiting for more than thirty years.
