The Thomas Community Service Award 2005 Recipients
Thomas Award Recipients Honored Five individuals were selected to receive the prestigious Thomas Community Service Award, honoring Ray Thomas, the Founding President of the Muskingum County Community Foundation. The Thomas Awards are presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to our community through service to one organization or project. The 2005 recipients are Jerry and Dr. Anita Jackson for the Nelson T. Gant Foundation; Stephanie Kline for the P.U.R.E. Center; Judy Rebic for Soroptimist International; and Dorothy Renner for the Zane Trace Players. Thomas Community Service Award recipients are honored by the contribution of $1,000 to the organizations or projects for which they have made a difference. Each also receives a recognition crafted by Chuck Borsari, artist in glass. The recipients were honored at a reception at the Zanesville Country Club on Friday evening, May 20, 2005, with more than 125 guests in attendance.
