Friends of the

Putnam Underground Railroad Education Center

 

 

The Conductors Club: $25,000 or more

donors at this level have an opportunity to name a room in the PURE Center

 

The Brantley Founders Club: $10,000 or more

named after founders Dr. and Mrs. Keith Brantley

 

The President Harley E. Flack Club: $5,000 - $9,999

named after the late Zanesville native who served as 

President of Wright State University

 

The William Still Club: $2,500 - $4,999

named after the author of the Underground Railroad

who was an ancestor of Mrs. Harley E. (Mignon Still) Flack

 

The Pauline M. Peterson Club: $1,000 - $2,499

named after the late Zanesville native who dedicated her life to community service

and was one of the three incorporators of the PURE Center

 

The A. A. Guthrie Club: $500 - $999

named after Zanesville native and the President of the Ohio Abolitionist Society

 

The Robert Burns Brown Club: $250 - $499

named after Civil War Medal of Honor recipient, Editor of the Zanesville Courier,

and conductor on the Underground Railroad

 

The Harriet Beecher Stowe Club: $100 - $249

named after the abolitionist and author of Uncle Tom’s Cabin

and sister of the Rev. William Beecher, abolitionist minister of the Putnam Presbyterian Church

 

The Harriet Tubman Club: to $99

named after the runaway slave who escaped and led more than 300 to freedom

 

 

 

All donors will be recognized and honored in a special way 

when the Center is completed.
